The Pink Lake was a whole vibe!!
It was amazing seeing how the effects of the sun, salt, and wind will show the brightness of the pink caused by the algae in the water. Women are no longer able to harvest the salt as it was causing miscarriages. Men spend no more than 4hrs/per day and no more than 4days a week in the lake as the salt content is too high. They use Shea butter(Natural sunscreen) to protect their skin from any dis-ease. While standing in the lake, which is only waist deep all the way across, they use a long-handled shovel to scoop the salt at the bottom of the lake into baskets.
I tried rowing the boat and baby that shit was hard. No wonder these men's arms are soooo chiseled 🤭
