Divine Rising
Meet some of the tour crew. We are headed to Goree Island, where the "Door of No Return" to pay homage to our Ancestors!! These eyes will be filled with tears in a few hours as this is the largest slave trade location from the 15th-19th Century.
I knew the tears would come! Behind me is the "Door of No Return" where many of our Ancestors never touched African soil again whether because they went to America or died at the hands of disease, famish, soldiers but many jumped in the waters to be eaten by sharks or drowning because they did not want to be slaves( this would be me). I'm honored that I've been able to return for OUR ANCESTORS!!
