About the event
We are thrilled to present the Sankofa Healing Experience (S.H.E.) Festival, an event that celebrates African spirituality, culture, and healing. This festival aims to honor the resilience of our ancestors, as well as those who fought for our rights and brought our African spirituality and culture to this land.
S.H.E FEST is a camping retreat is designed to provide an opportunity for melanated Kings and Queens of all ages to experience healing in the beauty of nature. Held on the ancestral grounds of Nat Turner, it our our intention to honor the wisdom of our ancestors and uplift the Black community. Participants will be encouraged to explore the outdoors, engage in meaningful conversations, and participate in activities that draw upon the power of nature and spirit. Our intention is to provide an experience that is both meaningful and transformative. Join us for the Sankofa Healing Experience.

The Nat War Trail Tour (TNTWTT) is a mobile tour that showcases the major events of the most successful slave revolt in US history. The tour includes visits to battle sites and is led by Elder Baba Khalifah and his son Khalifah Muhammad. The tour begins with an introduction debriefing.
