A Day of Sankofa Healing "A Children's Celebration"

"Village Academy is an Afrikan-centered private school with a multi-disciplinary, multi-level, hands-on curriculum that focuses on the core subjects while placing the Afrikan-descended children in the center of the learning experience to learn their true heritage and potential. Our grades are from Kindergarten (4 years old) through the 9th grade" Village Academy & Cultural Center

In an effort to bring more awareness to the amazing work being done at Village Academy and Cultural Center and DivineKreations 11 presents A Day of Sankofa Healing "Nation Building: A Children' Celebration for our Afrikan-Descended children and their families. Uplifting them to continue on the legacy of our Ancestors by taking up space LOUDLY in a society that encourages them to be silent and forget about our Afrikan Traditions, Practices and most importantly SPIRITUALITY
