The Sankofa Healing Experience
We are thrilled to present the Sankofa Healing Experience (S.H.E.) Festival, an event that celebrates African spirituality, culture, and healing. Sankofa, symbolized by a bird with its head turned backwards while its feet face forward, carrying a precious egg in its mouth, represents the importance of looking back to honor our ancestors and reclaiming what was left behind. This festival aims to honor the resilience of our stolen ancestors, as well as those who fought for our rights and brought our African spirituality and culture to this land.

The S.H.E. Festival seeks to bridge the gaps between African communities in the USA and the Motherland, fostering cultural, social, economic, and financial connections. It combines the wisdom of our ancestors' past with the healing of their present traumas, creating an empowering and transformative experience. Through showcasing different African countries' cultures, dance, drumming, cuisine, and fashion, the festival provides a platform for expression and connection.

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic to join our team and help promote our clothing line at S.H.E. Fest.
As a volunteer, you will be working directly with the team to make the S.H.E Fest a success. Volunteering with our team is a great way to network, meet new people, and gain experience in the fashion industry. Plus, you will get free entry to S.H.E. Fest!
